  1. No you are not meant to go to h**l.  You were created to spend eternity with your Creator if you choose so.  He will not force Himself on you, it is a choice for you to make.  God desires that no man should perish, but have everlasting life in His Kingdom.

Jesus died for all of mankind while we were yet sinners.

BTW- True Catholics do not worship idols, saints or anything or anyone other than God.  That is anti-Catholic propaganda spread by ignorance.  Besides, Jesus died for all sin including idolatry.

    Peace in Yeshua Ha'Mashiac,

    tman

  2. You know I haven't heard of catholics worshiping other Idols. Im an agnostic.

  3. Sounds like the Christians who say Catholics are not "real" Christians are splitting hairs on this getting into heaven thing.

One of the defining moments in my journey to atheism was that one of my Christian friends kept telling me "Good deeds won't get you into heaven." And I couldn't shake the thought, "Why the h**l not?"

  4. No you weren't. If you end up in h**l it will be because you have chosen to be there  by rejecting God.

Catholics do not worship idols by the way and they are Christians.

  5. Catholics are christians and do not pray to idols. What is h**l? In Orthodoxy it is believed (simplistically) that everyone goes to heaven and h**l is being in Gods presence and not liking it.

  6. Jesus died for the sins of the whole world and that includes you.  You will only go to h**l if you refuse to accept the Lord's death on the cross to pay for your sins.  When we accept Christ as our Savior, He comes to live in us and we are born again.  We are then able to turn from our sins, having lost our desire to sin.  The Bible says "we are made new creatures in Christ, the old has gone, the new has come."

There is no way out of the sin nature other than to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.  John 14:6 Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the Father but by Me."

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life."

  7. Sheol, or Hades, means the grave, or absence from God.

  8. Nobody is going to h**l unless you have committed mortal sin and do not regret it. I am Catholic and always will be. And there is only one God and different ways to get to Him, so whatever your religion is just keep walking as close as you can - God works in a mysterious ways.

  9. Actually God made it rather simple. Even in the Catholic church people can getr born again. I know because I did. I am no longer Catholic but I did accept Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior long before I left the church so I know I'm going to heaven in spite of what they tried to teach me. Maybe you are too? Check yourself by going to Rom. 10: 9, 10. It's that simple!

  10. h3ll=grave.....we all go there first...

NO...God wants everyone to be saved, but they must be willing!!

  11. h**l wasn't and still isn't meant for any of us. We make that choice of where we are going when we die. It may seem silly to you, but the only truth and reliability we have in this world is God's Word. It doesn't matter what people say about different religions like Catholics, Christians, Moslims, etc. God knows our hearts, and this is what He looks at. If you only knew what h**l was like-you would pretty much stay clear of it.

I know of some people who become atheists because they have thought so hard to figure God out, and they couldn't do it. No one will be able to do that. They also told me that if God existed, then why so much cruelty in the world? They become angry with God and just assume that He isn't there. But, He is. No one can explain how this universe came to be. Everything has been made so everything has a creator. In the beginning God.....God was, is, and always will be.....

Most of us are looking for some kind of empowerment, but a lot of us turn to other things. Why not God? God never wanted religion. He wants us all to unite as one in the body of Christ. All we have to do is just believe in Him-that's it. Some want proof, but even the Israelites from the bible had proof, but yet kept turning to their idols of statues and pieces of wood and gold. Being saved is by faith - faith in Jesus Christ. Don't try to figure it all out-because it's impossible. Just believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins. He was the ultimate sacrifice for us. If it wasn't for Him-we wouldn't be here right now. Read the Word of God starting in Romans, and I pray that He will reveal His truth to you.

  12. the only people who go to h**l are evil.  you don't sound evil to me.  if there is a heaven and God is there, I think he will let you in.

  13. yep you're going to h**l. sorry. God is an a*****e. But i have to worship him so i can get to heaven, so it is my duty to tell you that you will burn in h**l, as any good christian would tell you.

  14. No You can change all that.

  15. i'm catholic. we don't worship idols. What are these "idols" you are talking about? From what i know, there's just God, his mother and the saints. The latter 2 we don't 'worship' but ask them to intercede on our behalf. And how can catholics not be christians? Catholics were the first and original christians, with the other demoninations being breakaways.

Anyway, no one is "meant" to go to h**l...certainly not whole sections of the population, just because they called 'catholics'. God doesn't look at the labels.

Btw, u do realise that your question is quite offensive right? Since you are from a catholic background, it's sad that u feel this way.

  16. No one is 'meant' to go to h**l-fire, but all who die go to Hades/Sheol (the grave)

God does not want anyone to perish, so there is hope for all in Jesus.

2 Peter 3:9  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
