I am also seeing a orthopedic once every month so far I have seen him 3 times.I have a lawyer also but my questions is when is the lawyer gona send a claim to geico to close the case...or a final evaluation to the orthopedic.

  1. Ask your lawyer.   Usually they are in no hurry to setttle.   The longer your treatments the more money they make.  If you want to close the case then tell your lawyer.

  2. Geico is very good on both parts. You lawyer is going to speak with thim and they will make a offer. based on that you have the option to take the offer or decline it. They will consult with the orthopedic and they may even ask you to go see one of there doctors. Your lawyer is not going to close the case unless he feels that he got the best he could. The main reason why he is going to want to keep the case open is that they said they will cover 100%. Does anyone have that it writting.

  3. ask the lawyer...how would we know what ur lawyer is doing...

  4. davedave, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I was hurt once when a truck backed over my left foot at work. My employer tried to settle with me fast because they knew it wasn't my fault. I called a recommended lawyer in my city who gave me great advice and I was able to get a justifiable settlement to cover my hosptial bills that weren't covered by my work insurance. I'd find a lawyer in your area. http://www.accidentlawyerlocator.com My personal injury lawyer was willing to answer any and all questions I had because they expect to make some money at the same time. Try calling a accident lawyer to see if they can help.
