Was in a wreck today and after sitting at the site for like a hour we got tired of waiting on the police?

so she just gave me all her info and i called her insurance it had been canceled but went to her house had her write on a paper that the wreck was er fault and she would pay me for the cost of my car with in 30 days and still have all her info what do i do if she dont pay me after the 30days my car going to cost 3000 to fix

The best thing to do would be to take her to court if she does not pay especially if you have the agreement in writing and you would also want to take pictures of everything and make copies of everything necessary so you will have some kind of evidence in court

you HAVE to wait for the police it is called LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT! IT IS A CRIME you are gonna be paying if she doesn't

Technically, you are supposed to wait for the police, but if you got her to sign for responsibility for the wreck then that can be introduced into court if she fails to pay you.

I would take pictures of all the damage ASAP with the date somewhere on the picture (if the camera won't do it for you have something that has the date on it - like a clock or the tv in the background - visible in the picture) and keep them, along with the copy of the statement of responsibility in a safe place, and MAKE COPIES OF EVERYTHING!

Also, you may want to call the police to file a report with them anyway just so they have the report in their records. And if she doesn't pay you take her to small claims court. If they find her guilty she will normally have to pay for the legal fees.
