I trhink she decided it was the best thing to do , so good on her, had she gone and held it the papers would have been straight in there making up ridiculous c**p about the royals as usual.

(On another note, LB, sorry to hear of your son's unfortunate passing. Last week, our friends lost their 22 year old son to a rare brain cancer after falling ill less than 1 year ago.

Yes, she was right. She will still celebrate this landmark, of course, just not on so grand a scale.
