Was is the best home theater subwoofer currently on the market?

You cant really just pick one sub and call it the best. there are too many different models, applications, price points. and you also have to know what your own personal preferences are. that being said, my personal favorites are sunfire and klipsch.

There is no best but you do have a bunch to choose from

( one that i own  is velodyne they have a rep of making some of the best subs in the world) also you can't go wrong with other brands like JBL, PARADIGM,CERWIN VEGA,INFINITY, M&K,PSB,HSU to name a few. your options are near limitless let your ears be the judge. bottom line if you pick a good name brand sub you really can't go wrong.
