  1. sometimes if food is too greasy and our body isn't used to the extra oil/grease you can get the runs or if you eat food that is too rich it can also happen - these are normally the overlooked reasons for  diarhea -

you can have three or four people eat the same thing and one of them will get diarhea and the other three won't it's just that person's digestive system is more sensitive to certain bacteria than others....

  2. It probably wasn't the Dextrose. Your stomach might have not agreed with the meal you ate. Your diarrhea doesn't have to be from the the day before. Diarrhea can come within 48 hours to 5 minutes. Some things can just run right through you. Just because it had corn in it doesn't mean that it was from the yummy meal. You digested the corn (half way) and it got put in with the waste, that doesn't mean it was from one meal. The diarrhea you had can be caused by one meal, but can come out with 2 or 3 meals. When you have diarrhea you can get really dehydrated, drink lots of water!! You can try the potato thing again and if something happens, I wouldn't recommend eating it a third time.

  3. It could have been dextrose, but it also could have been a number of other things, it is truly hard to say. The corn within your diarrhea would be considered normal.

You could try eating them one more time to be sure, or you could shy away from them and never eat those yummy things again.

Be sure to drink lots of water to rehydrate yourself.

  4. Dextrose, commonly called glucose, d-glucose, or blood sugar, occurs naturally in food, and is moderately sweet. It is a monosaccharide (basic unit of carbohydrates) did you mean it was added to the food or was already present i don't think it was the dextrose because you will have unwittingly eating it before im only guessing but i think it was something else

  5. Dextrose is also known as "grape sugar" "corn sugar" or glucose.

Its just probably the oil that made u have diarhea, it happend to me multiple times too, Having Corn in your stool, it only means that u didnt chew your food weel. Corn is hard to be broken down when theyre in our stomach.
