Was it Lightning in my house?!?!?!?

ok im not sure what happened but i was standing in my living room a moment ago and was messing with the radio. it was storming outside, but i didnt really think anything of it. I looked up and there was a pop and i saw a white/light purple colored line running horizontal from wall to wall in my house. Soon after that i heard a stuffed animal i had that plays a tune go off by itself and my internet was breifly cut off. Does ANYONE know what this was????

Life is full of mysteries. THer is no positive way to nail this one down, as lighting could have struck anywhere. If it was storming, the net could be cut off if u use wireless. Mine does all the time. If the lighting struck somewhere, like a cable, it could have caused the strange colored line. What was the line? Was it present before the storm, or did it disappear?

A lightning strike heats the air instantly to several thousand degrees and that's why you hear the thunder. If you didn't hear it immediately as you saw the light, it was not lightning.

But in a thunderstorm, strong static electricity can ionize molecules and play tricks like the Saint Elm's fire. But those last a while.

Last: it could be a surge in your house electrical power supply that did something strange to one or several of your electrical appliances.
