  1. He was only a so-so governor in California.  The reason he became one of America's greatest presidents was because he personally did little, and selected outstanding people under him.  Coupled with the fact that he came into office following one of the most chaotic political environment since the civil war and slowed it all down, leaving the country with a historic national debt.

    He was an actor.

  2. Hey Sheriff, can you spell bankruptcy?  Reagan was not a great president - he was a spendthrift that gave us the genius of W.

  3. No.  Dems did not and do not think Reagan would be and is one of America's Greatest Presidents.  Dems voted for Reagan because they were fed up with Pres. Carter's bungling.

  4. What exactly made Raygun a great president?

The massive deficits or the massive deficit attention disorder?

  5. It was the way he handled those brat student protesters.

He didn't have any of them shot like Nixon did at Kent, but still, it was effective.

Anybody who can control post-pubescent adolescents is bound to be a great man at any capacity.

    Reaganites for Obama !!!
