Was it all in vain? Will nobody book in?

I Have done a Complementary Therapies course for two years and i really enjoyed it, thought that i wanted to do this as a career but nobody seems interested in my treatments, i feel like doing it was all a waste of time, i dont know what i am doing wrong or if i am advertising in the wrong places, and since i will be charging high prices then i am less likely to get anyone, was it all vain, will nobody ever book in or become a client, does nobody want Natural or Complementary Therapies anymore should i give up now?

  1. Maybe don't start your own company, work for some one else doing the treatments, build up your clients then maybe go alone. That way you'll have customers to take with you.

If you are set on going your own way why not get leaflets printed and take them to gyms in your area. My gym alway has details of local therapy companys.

Also if you do set up on your own, have a opening night with nibbles and free taster sessions, that way people may book while at your party.

  2. Never heard of this program.  Do you have a degree of any kind?

I think it's better to keep your costs low (by working out of your house or a vitamin store) and keep your prices low. That will bring people in. If you are charging a lot you may spend a lot of time looking at the walls.

    Good luck.
