Question:

Was it inappropriate for me to do this to him in public?

Whenever this guy and I go out, I always sit on his lap instead of a chair, we hold hands, and when we are standing, he usually stands behind me with his arms wrapped around me.

After seeing a movie, we decided to take a drive down to the park. We got to the park and some children were having a birthday party, so we went to the other side of the park. He sat down on a bench and I sat on his lap... facing him. He seemed to be pleasantly surprised and didn't object. We started kissing. Is that an inappropriate way to sit on his lap in public? Why/why not? thoughts, opinions?

  1. You left out the part about him feeling your t!ts in a public park, as you elaborated in your other posting on the same subject.

  2. Yeah for me that is to much...

Reason simple....I do not want to see it, especially when you are 12 years old with a thong hanging out the back!

  3. It's not really inappropriate, but people usually feel awkward when seeing a couple do things like this in public. Just use discrestion, make sure other people aren't around.

  4. I don't think you were inapprepriate, young love is one of the few very happy times in life.

I would guess the line of proper public behavior would be crossed if a moment of closeness changed into sexual foreplay.

  5. Generally speaking, people usually do not enjoy seeing couples do those sorts of things in public.  When you are out in the world, it would be best to stick with walking/sitting side-by-side and holding hands.  Though, him having his arm around you isn't too bad.

You should probably save the heavy kissing and making out for when you are alone.  That makes people uncomfortable.

  6. Sounds like we could make a big deal out of this and contact the media and see if the younger generation is going to far??? And then interview a bunch of geriatrics to see how outraged we can get them.

Then, we can get a bunch of teenagers to engage in tonsil hockey in public and record all the outraged looks.. sounds like fun!!

Short answer is no... Keep going until someone takes a fire hose to you and they catch it on the 6 o'clock news.

  7. most people find it inapropriate to be stradling your boyfriend in public

  8. honestly i dont think there is anything wrong wit dat i do dat type of stuff wit my bf all the time.some ppl i think is PDA but im lk its your man so show dat hes yours

  9. It's one thing to sit on his lap sweetly, with your legs together on the side & a completely other thing sitting facing him with your legs spread, very unclassy. somethings should be left for a "bedroom". If you want to be respected by other people & especially by your guy, have some self respect & manners!

One more thing...A guy will never object if he thinks his *** will get any pleasure out of something. Thats why it is important for girls/women to not act so sleazy at every moment & every place. (Time& place for everything)

    Have some dignity!

  10. well if there are people around they probably dont wanna see that. unless its some perverted old man getting off on that ****. lol

  11. In my opinion, it's not innapropriate to sit on his lap, but it may be a bit much to sit facing him.

  12. I've done far worse on park benches!

  13. No Paris  everything will be OK

  14. I sit on my friends all time time LOL, but sitting on your boyfriend's lap facing him and making out is a pretty strong form of PDA..... if no one is there though, who really cares I guess.

  15. The appropriate thing for you to do is get a room!  Public displays of affection like that, or just sitting in his lap at all, make you look bad, not him.

Have some self-respect and stick to holding hands in public.  Save all the other stuff for behind closed doors.  You will not only feel more confident, he may respect you more for it.

  16. If you don't mind looking like a stripper grinding on a lap dance customer, it's fine.
