Was it my imagination or did anyone else notice?

Last night, while watching the convention, I noticed that there was very little diversity in the crowd. In fact I only caught four faces that were not white. Also there seemed to be a lot of empty seats. Anyone else have a thought on this?

I noticed few empty seats, but yes, a marked lack of people of color.
