Was it the right IQ?

Earlier on I was bored as I couldn't go shopping today so I did an IQ test on www.sofeminine.co.uk and once I had completed the test I said my IQ is over 130. Could this be true? If you can, could you do the test and say whether you thought your IQ at the end was right? Thanks! :)

On line IQ test should be regarded as entertainment only, the average IQ is 100 for whatever age group you are in, all the results I've seen from people who have tried these on line tests are invariably much higher than the norm of 100.

If you want an accurate IQ test, you need to take the MENSA test, this is considered the 'Gold' standard throughout the world, it starts with a two hour test at home and if you score highly enough you will be invited to take a similar supervised test at a recognised centre.

The tests are usually about 200 questions.

Online IQ tests are invalid and unreliable. The only way you can know your IQ score is to have an IQ test administered by a psychologist trained in assessment.

mine was betwen 110 and 120 so yeah yours is possible anyways albert einstein was said to only have had an iq of 160

An online IQ test isn't going to be that accurate. It's only real purpose is for the entertainment value. To be honest, I don't  consider a real IQ test to be an appropriate measure of intelligence either. However, the average IQ is 100, and that standard seems to be devestatingly low so I'd say it's very likely that you are above average at least.

I scored between 120 and 130. 125 is the score I got on a test given by a professional so I would think it is pretty accurate.

Average IQ is 100. They say genius starts at around 145.  Judging by your grammar you're probably brighter than your average spanner monkey.  I did an IQ test recently and it said that my IQ was 145, and I do constantly find myself frustrated by being at the edge of understanding complex concepts.  I'm sure it's correct, but IQ is just one measure of intelligence.  There are others which are arguably equally or more valuable.

Next time you go shopping choose a queue that you won't have to wait long in. It works for me every time. I Q in the right queue and I leave early then when I get to a bus stop IQ in the middle lane because it's the quickest one to Q in to get on the bus.  When I arrive home I choose the longest Q to play pool because I find IQ best with long Qs best. But when I go shopping I like short Qs. IQ in only three Qs today not 130 like you I hope this will be of help.
