Was it tougher to score in jordan's era or kobe's era

my opinion (and four out of five basketball players) think its tougher to score against a team with great help side defense or a team that runs a great zone (kobe)

than going one on one against a tough defender that hand checks or a physical team (jordan)

if some one is is playing physical hit em with a quick jab step and go the other way- if they still have a hand on you trying to slow you down drive through there hand- or sweep hard underneath and explode /drive hard

-It is tougher to play against help-side defense. Let's say you drive past the first defender, then there will automatically be another one waiting. And guess what, now there is a sandwich, 1 defender behind you and 1 in front, you have little room to navigate now and most likely will have to force a shot

-Against help side defense, you need to be ready to do your pull up jumper before the help side defender gets to you.

i think it's harder for kobe's era because nowadays there are more good players than before...and the players now are obviously more stronger and buffer than the players back in the jordan era. i will admit though, that jordan is still the best ever. he has won so many more awards than kobe.

The 90's were when teams actually cared about defense.

i say it's equal ... with Zone Defense it's harder to drive to the basket ...and with/out 3sec rule .. it's lil harder to score in the paint..

So no it won't make a difference to Kobe

A lot tougher back in Jordan's era. Just look at who you had to shoot against: Olajuwan, Rodman, Robinson, Ewing, Mourning, etc. Now you just have guys like Camby doing the blocks.

It was tougher in Jordan's era. In the 90's, teams were more fundamentally sound. Kobe's era is all about scoring and all basketball players  care about "me". Today's NBA, in my opinion doesn't really know the meaning of defense.

Kobes era is harder. In Jordans era it was less great players now every team has one really really good player

By Jordan ERA in the 90s it was much more difficult to score than this ERA.  These days every team wants to be like the run and gun Suns now.  Just stacking up all offense players and playing little defense.
