  1. And how much of a disrespect is it that references are/were made about Ted DiBiase Jr.(Ted DiBiase Sr.,) Cody and Dustin Rhodes(Dusty Rhodes,) Shawn Stasiak(Stan Stasiak,) The Rock(Peter Miavia and Rocky Johnson,) Natalya Neidhardt(Jim Neidhardt,) and many others?

It's just a way of telling the audience that has followed the sport for sometime and/or the fans who have recently begun to watch again that the wrestler in question is related to this or that former wrestler.

On the flip-side you may have someone like Barry O(Bob Orton Sr.) and Greg Valentine(Johnny Valentine) whose familial ties are refered to infrequently if at all(maybe their choice, maybe the promoters choice.)

  2. yeah, b/c punk is no good ******* p***y and needs to give Kane the title.

  3. How was it disrespectful?  All that was said was that the ONLY reason Randy Orton is in the WWE is because its the family business.  Randy Orton never paid his dues.....

  4. Nope, coz WWE has done things far worse like when, Mickie James was backstage nd JBL said something about Mickie James spending a day with a fan who won a contest and he said so if were selling the Divas that basically means there Escorts (Hookers) this was just after the Ashley Massaro Escort story was released, and if you ask me thats more disrespectfull than what CM Punk said, coz Punk Wasnt dissing Bob Orton Sr. he was dissing Randy Orton:)

  5. I like Randy Orton too, but he allowed it to happen. He didn't make it a big deal, what CM Punk meant was that Randy used his name/family history to gain access to the WWE wrestling world!

And I would like to see a Randy Orton vs CM Punk World Championship match in the near future! How about you?

  6. who said this

  7. what was said

thanks for letting me know and yeah that was very disrespectful.

  8. Yeah it was, the WWE shouldn't be allowed to say stuff like that rather they are kidding or not, it is very disrespectful like you said and it probably is very disrespectful towards his family.

  9. WWE has been known for bad taste for a long time.  Like Vince's ending of the Million Dollar Mania contest, having a set crash around him after a TNA crew memeber was killed taking the set down after a ppv.  Vince had to have know what had happened and he could have ended his contest another way.

  10. I don't think it was direspectful since Randy Orton allowed it to happen. What I think CM PUNK meant by his father and granddaddy ushering him into the WWE, was that he used his family history & name to gain access into the WWE.

  11. It's not really disrespectful to anyone, but Randy.

  12. I don't think it was wrong or disrespectful.  The Ortons are famous in St. Louis and I'm sure the St. Louis fans appreciated the mention.

Orton got a tremendous face pop for the great promo he did.  He's also famous for "disrespecting" legends.  Punk just turned that around on Orton.  He didn't disrespect Randy's father and grandfather, he just meant Randy had an easier time of it because his father and grandfather are famous.  Punk's insult and disrespect were aimed at Randy.

  13. No offense, but how was it disrespectful? There was absolutely zero disrespect toward anyone but Randy Orton, and even then, it wasn't real disrespect, it was just promo disrespect. If anything, he's saying that Orton's ancestors were extremely good in comparison to Orton, that Randy used their fame and abilities to secure a place in the WWE. That's not disrespect to the Orton family at all.

Punk said nothing bad about Randy's grandfather. He didn't call him a bad wrestler, he didn't call him a bad person, he didn't say one bad thing about Bob Orton Sr. or even Cowboy Bob Orton. All of it was directed toward Randy, he was the one in the bad light, he was the disrespected one, but Randy probably doesn't care anyway because it was scripted in the first place.
