  1. Mary Todd Lincoln was the First Lady of America and wife of USA President Abraham Lincoln.

  2. How about you post this question in history or United States general and see if the Americans can help you ?

  3. Latest research seems to imply that she was a wee bit 'light fingered'. She was also, in a way, ahead of her time in the use to which she put the cigars, which she stole from General Grant.

  4. who told you this or did you devise this all on your own?  the poor lady was a solid southern belle until she lost her children due to sickness or , in robert's case, he abandoned her because he was embarrassed by her 'strange ways'.  she also, you might remember, lost her husband, shot while sitting next to her in ford's theater on april 15, 1865. loosen up with her. after all that happened within a short period of time, she lapsed into a fugue state that today would've been treated as a mental disorder.  she went untreated for so long, when treated she was thrown into an asylum that without her cousin's help, she would've stayed & died there. this was no way to treat the former first lady.  honors were bestowed upon her husband but very little were given to her. she never took anything that she felt didn't belong to her. thievery? nah! the only thing she stole, outright, was abe lincoln's heart, all those years ago. anything else?  just the ramblings of a feeble-minded person out to crucify a decent lady who's been dead for years and without any firm evidence to show otherwise.
