Was my mother right or wrong in dissing me?

Question

Some people emailed me sites on child abuse which I looked at. At first I wanted to report my mother for child abuse for saying untrue things about me. I threw ketchup around in McDonalds and it got on some people’s clothes and this ladies coach purse. My mom saw what I did wigged out and diss me in there called me a baby told me maybe I needed to go back to wearing diapers again and be in a high chair wearing a bib. Would most parents say that to there kid if they were me you think? Or is my mother just a wack job for saying that. Anyway I’m not going to report her. I think that your mother is right to be angry, sure she could've expressed her anger in private, but if my kid wrecked peoples clothes and purses, I would tan his hide.  It is not child abuse it is discipline and if more parents disciplined their children then the world would be a lot better today!  Score one for mom!
