Was on provisional insurance, now fully licensed..when do i changed?

i bought my car last november and got fully comp insurance paying monthly on being a provisional license holder. Now that I've passed, my bf keeps telling me to update it but i'm scared i'll lose my ncb.

But i've been googling around and some people have been driving up until when their renewal is due and then changing their details.

What dyu recommend I should do?

So you got a provisional license and then got insurance ... and now that you have your full license your wondering whether or not you should change insurance companies?  I would recommend having a chat with your insurance agent, they will be able to tell you which is the better idea for you at this point.  It never hurts to check with other companies to see what they offer.
