  1. Right

The Press are given the wink to run the "Story"

They will all be hoping he can then come home with some Street Cred

Look at how many are falling for it

  2. Guess what, the vast majority of us couldn't give a sh*t what you think. It is of no consequence.

  3. no, he was in afghanistan because he is in the military.

all the media attention was going to cause him to not be able to go, but then he slipped over there for a month or so before the media found out and promoted that he was there

  4. They always like the Royals to have had military experience, and if they can get them into a war that raises their coolness factor enormously.  But in modern times it just doesn't work, for security reasons.  A prince in a unit is just a moving target.  The whole unit has an even bigger bullseye on it than it normally does.

If the royal family members have to serve in the military then they are better off undersea in a nuclear submarine or on a ship or something.

  5. I hardly think that any 23 year old man would want to go to the front in Afghanistan as a publicity stunt.

Did you volunteer to go?  No, I thought not.

It is very easy to sit & name-call & disrespect people when you are sitting in your comfy seat in your home, isn't it?

I am not a particular fan of royalty but I am very proud of the way Prince Harry has acted.

He was slated in the media for not going to Iraq & not it appears as if he is being slated got going to Afghanistan. The poor guy cant win, can he? Give him a break!

  6. it was an american that exposed it.  he was there for 10 weeks before it got out, i think that is a pretty good time for that to be kept quiet.  he would stay but he would be a detriment because he would be a target. i personaly think it was a good thing for him to do.

  7. Give Harry a break! He's done something that most of us would not do willingly. And, I hope people will start being kinder to him.

    best of luck to you!

  8. It was/is a Stunt with a capital S

  9. After you come back from serving in Afghanistan I will listen to you

  10. No. If it was a pr stunt, it would have been made known right from the beginning. As it was, there was a strict embargo on the facts of the situation. The embargo was respected by the British press but apparently broken by someone who knew someone and repeated what s/he had heard in a chatline.

That isn't the way you run a pr campaign.

The Prince, and the Royal Family, are to be commended for letting him serve with his mates. All he wanted was to be one of the group, to stay with the men he had trained with - and now that has been taken away from him because his continued presence presents a threat to other members of his company.

  11. it  almost looks like it doesnt it? do they really think that it would be kept a secret?

  12. It obviously was as there are clips of him in with his troop and these clips weren't taken only just before he left because his hair changes length in them.
