  1. Yes. He thought there was two properties; mind and matter.

    He was a dualist.


  2. Deism means belief in an absolute being...a god/creator!

    So as a Christian, he would qualify.

    He is famous for saying, "I think, therefore I am"...

  3. He was Roman Catholic but some of his works were prohibited reading, and he also had a theological theory that stated that man was independent of gods will. so he wasnt a popular guy.

  4. Yes because he 'deigned' to think to know that he was.  Trouble is that he didn't realize that he was just programmed to think that he thunk.
