Was she joking when she said she doesn't swing that way?

I asked this question a while ago and got a useless answer....

Everything about her tells me she's g*y, and although I haven't asked her I'm like 95% sure she is. The other day we were on the bus and her hand touched my thigh and I made some funny comment and she's like "i wasn't touching u, i don't swing that way" but in a joking way..so she was probably joking right? like, would a g*y person say that if they're g*y? I'm like in love with her so tell me something good (: lol

Yeah they would if they were in denial or cover-up phase...but I'm afraid it's a long way from there to ... well, you know. But you never know! From what you're saying I would trust your instinct.

Oh yeah i do that ALL the time.

Not even to cover it up, just as a joke. If she said it in a joking way then your best bet is yea, shes joking.

You should probably ask her directly. I now it might seem scary but it's the only way to find out for sure. She might be joking because she's scared of how you might feel. Just give it a try and find out. If she's not, then she'll probably still be your friend and if she doesn't than she'd be a shallow person then.

if it sounds like shes joking then she probably is. but if she makes a few other moves like that to you and doesnt say she was joking then she might be. who knows!?
