In CA it's six months before you can be summoned again.

It depends on which state you live in. For example, in Connecticut if you are called for jury duty but not required to serve, you will not be called for at least one year. The information should be available on  your state's web site.

Right away. You have to actually serve on a jury to get the one year exemption.

What state are you in?  I believe that as long as you show up on everyday that you are assigned, you are exempt for three years regardless if you actually served.
