Was that a great finish or what (nascar truck series)?

for those who watched the truck series, what did you think of that finish?

for those who didn't see it, on the last lap, donny lia (a rookie), bumped david starr to the side, and in doing so, made it possible for todd bodine to make it three-wide for first. bodine fell back a bit, and lia and starr bumped again, both saved it, and lia beat star to the line to take his first win, and as a rookie.

in short, donny lia was driving aggressive enough to make up for the fact that rowdy wasn't there. starr said "that's short track racin' for ya" and bodine was kinda pi$$ed - he got knocked out of the way by lia earlier, and moved from second to third because of it.

but no matter, that was exciting racing!!!

do you agree that it was a great finish?

what do you think of donny lia and how he was driving?

and bigger picture - do you think there's been ANYTHING as exciting as that finish in the cup or nationwide series this year?

I think that was by far the most exciting truck race I've ever seen. I think the only race I've ever seen that was more exciting was the Pepsi 400 at Daytona last year when Jamie beat Shrub. I have no problem with how Lia drove, that's how Starr got the lead in the first place, by knocking Setzer out of the way. Bodine had no reason to whine. It's pretty sad when the one who got moved out of the way and loses the race is classier than the one who finished third. Bodine is just a classless moron that will never be anything more than just a good truck series driver. Good job Donny!!!

i loved the ending of the truck race. i like when drivers can race hard enough to bump each other out of the way but not wreck them. that was definately more exciting than any nationwide race or cup race this year

I dont watch craftsman truck but i was checkin out speed (i think it was speed) and i saw a replay of the finish about a minute after the race ended and i was very impressed. that was awesome racing.
