Not to mention the fact that it was in a construction zone-45 mph posted everywhere?

Hey bud, no matter that you are driving a hybrid, when you drive it like that you are wasting gas.

Oh, and if i wanted i could have blown the doors off your toyota.

  1. He was just being an A$$ while lining Japanese pockets with his purchase.

If the lib elite can jetset to Bali to discuss a "climate crisis" being green must not be much of a priority then.

  2. Yes, going faster burns more gas. I drive long distances a lot and always have to decide if the extra money is worth the time I save and possibility of a ticket meaning even more money.

They were being greener than a regular car doing the same thing so, in a way, yes. They were not using the vehicle in its manufactured purpose of getting (or trying to get) the best possible gas mileage so also no.

  3. Most hybrids can't reach up to the speeds of normal vehicles. So to your potential 170MPH a hybrid car can only go up to around 95MPH. Secondly is this a question or a rant?

  4. Well it is against the law to be speeding obviously..

But the faster you drive, the less petrol you actually use. Most cars have a gauge that shows you your fuel efficiency, It usually goes from 0-20, The slower your going the higher the reading on the gauge will show, meaning your using more petrol. For example, If the gauge read "15" It meant you are using 15L per 100km, The faster you go, the lower the gauge will read, meaning you're more fuel efficient. So that guy in his fancy Prius that was speeding, was actually being more fuel efficient.

    Hope that answers your question,

Danny (By the way I'm only 12 years old.. but I love cars)
