  1. The Tudor Dynasty died out when the last monarch, Queen Elizabeth I of England breathed her last in 1603 without any issue (she died childess). She declared her nephew, King James VI of Scotland to succeed her as the new "King James I of England. His mother, Queen Mary I of Scotland was Queen Elizabeth I's cousin, whose aunt "Princess Margaret Tudor" was Mary's paternal grandmother.

Under the ordinary laws of succession, Mary of Scot was next in line to the English throne after her cousin, Queen Elizabeth I, who was childless. In the eyes of many Catholics Elizabeth was illegitimate, making Mary the true heir. She was executed by Queen Elizabeth I in 1587 for treason. Mary's only son, James VI, became the next rightful heir to the British throne, who also had the best claim to the crown, established the "House of Stuart" in England in 1603.

  2. Died out. After Elizabeth I, there were no more.

  3. Both answers above very good and detailed, nothing more I can add to that.

  4. After the Death of Elizabeth I, who left no heir to the throne,  the Scottish king James I of the Stuart house took the throne  under the title of King of Great Britain, which was just England and Scotland at the time.

Elizabeth died of natural causes and was not overthrown.

  5. The line died out with Elizabeth I who had no children. Her predecessor was her elder sister Mary I who also had no children. Hence the throne passed to James VI of Scotland who became James I of England and the founder of the English Stuart dynasty. His claim to the throne was through descent from Margaret Tudor  - Henry VIII of England's sister - who was the Queen-Consort of James IV of Scotland.

  6. Elizabeth died and left the throne to JamesVi of Scotland
