Was the line up of children @ Scotland v Australia Rugby an example of multi-culti society?

I was interested to see at the start of this afternoon's Scotland v Australia Rugby International that the line up of children who stood in front of the Scottish side were 100% white. Were these children chosen for their pure Scottish bloodline or what?

My mother is a Scot, my father half Welsh and I was born in England so no imature 'nationalistic' diatribe please.

  1. No, I'd say it was a rare example of the politically correct thought police not having interfered.

I'm sure they won't miss it a second time, though.

  2. they were just chosen. if race is such a menial issue then why did it matter what race they were? i tell you what would have been racist, if they had chosen the children, seen that they were all white and then gone out of their way to find a black/asian/hispanic child. tokenism should be discouraged.

  3. oh so you want positive discrimination then do you?  That would have been hilarious an indian child walking out.  ive never seen an indian playing rugby before lol.

  4. Good point.
