  1. The P1106 existed only on paper during the waning days of the Third Reich. Interestingly, hobbyists have produced flying scale models of the jet-powered craft, although they are reportedly difficult to keep aloft.

  2. It seems that none were built.

The Me P-1106, designed in parallel with the Me P-1101, had new arrangements for it's major components, like engine, fuel tanks and cockpit. It was expected to obtain a better flight performance and have better maintenace with this twin tail variant.

Poor visibility and high wing loading lead to the withdrawal of the construction in favor of the Me P-1101 and Me P-1111.

  3. none were built

  4. The Messerschmitt Me P.1106 was an intended improvement to the Messerschmitt Me P.1101.

It went through several redesigns; the first version had a T-tail with cockpit faired into the vertical stabilizer, the later design having a V-tail with the cockpit moved slightly forward. In both cases the wings were swept back at 40 degrees.

The planned power plant was a He S 011 jet engine, and armament was to be two MK 108 30mm cannons.

The project was abandoned since the performance of the P.1101 had not been improved on, and the 1106 cockpit had poor visibility
