  1. Yes they did land on the moon, only people who

    - hate the government

    - know less science than a Highschool student

    - want to make money with their books and videos

    - simply are trolling

    claim otherwise.

    NASA has i.e.

    - eyewitnesses

    - a whole load of documentation (including the tracking data from foreign countries)

    - thousands of pictures

    - hours of film

    - the laser reflectors

    - >300kg of moonrocks

    - a congratulation from the russians

Most of the landingdeniers counterclaims don't even need an expert to be shown wrong, they are just stupid. .

    Just one example:

Hoaxers claim that the flag was waving in some wind

Now everyone who bothers to do some research (instead of relying on the fraudulent Snippets the Hoaxers show) will find out, that the flag was held up by a wire, and appeared only to be waving while (and shortly after) being handled by one of the astronauts.

You also have to ask yourself if it is really believeable that NASA would miss a waving flag if they wanted to fake it?

Now certain answerers may claim otherwise but if you read their stuff, and all the answers in the questions there they participated you will notice that all their "evidence" has been debunked numerous times.

Do they acknowledge it? Are they even try to explain why the explantions given are incorrect? No, they just repeat the same bunch of lies over and over again. That should give you an idea about their honesty...

  2. do you really think the soviet union at the height of the cold war wouldn't of noticed???

do you think that if they wouldn't of noticed, the usa would of given the SU 6 more chances to notice?

    get real please.

  3. Not at all. I think this is real and they made it seven times.

  4. Dr. Van Allen didn't think it was impossible to cross the Van Allen belts.  He thinks all that hoax stuff is "nonsense," and said so himself.

  5. really really dumb people think its fake.

they don't look at the evidence, they only "heard about it" from friends, who are likely also really dumb people.

the Moon landings were real, everyone that can walk upright believes so.

  6. The Moon landings (there were several, not just one) were very real.  Evidence includes photographs, videos, recordings of transmissions, and oh yeah, many pounds of lunar soil.  Also, during the missions the Apollo capsules were tracked via telescope and radio all the way to and from the Moon, and not just by NASA.  Independent observers and other nations, including the USSR, confirmed the voyage.  Remember that the USSR was our biggest opponent in the race to the Moon...if they detected even the faintest whiff of trickery, they'd have blown the whistle for sure.

Also keep in mind that many hundreds of thousands of people were employed in manufacturing the spacecraft that got us to the Moon and back.  If it WAS a hoax, it was an insanely elaborate and expensive hoax that has somehow miraculously managed to keep half a million people silent for almost 40 years.

So not only were the Moon landings real, but it would have been a miracle to have successfully faked them.  Of the two propositions, actually going to the Moon is a lot easier.

I hope that helps.  Good luck!

  7. No.

Why didn't the Russians say anything then?  Or the Chinese and Europeans?

Also; it would be nigh on impossible to fake the same thing seven times, counting the six that landed, and the one that had to be rescued.

I hope your mind is open on this; and not made up already.

    Common sense.

  8. You mean the 6 manned landings on the Moon?  No.

  9. No, it was real.

It is all the one who claim it did not occur (based on inappropriate interpretation of pictures, showing their lack of understanding, or even on forged documents) who are a bunch of fakes.

  10. No they were real. It seems like this has been asked alot recently.

  11. Nope.  But our opinions don't matter.  It's a matter of fact - and the fact is, it happened.  6 times.

  12. I think its real!

  13. no

tragically people who say so seem to have some sort of limited horizon and are unwilling to accept that their smartness was overpowered by a couple of  engineers and scientists at NASA. and even in 1969.

i read so much nonsense along with those conpiracy aligned websites that i really doubt we can do it again, for not having smart enough people in the near future.

  14. I believe we did land on the moon. However there are actually alot of skeptics and conspiracy theorists who believe the landings were staged. Some say we still don't have the technology to cross the Van-Allen belt.

  15. to us? what does that mean?

    no, it wasnt fake.

  16. here's the arguements i have come across:

skeptics say, "where are the stars" in the photographs.  since th moon has no atmosphere, the black sky should show stars...

well, anyone who took basic photography already knows the answer to this question... well, if they took the class before the digital era, anyway.  it is exceedingly difficult to set the aperature and shutter speeds to photograph incredibly bright objects (surface of the moon) and incredibly faint ones (stars) in the same exposure.

the waving flag with no breeze?  well,  that would be an issue on the earth, but, once again, all you need is newton's laws of motion to know a moving object will continue to move.  so, if an astronaut created one ripple, it's angular momentum would keep it "waving" until the weak gravity and lack of air resistence could stop it...

of course, i did get this information from a nasa website, so, maybe if you truly are skeptical, consider the source, and seek deeper research
