  1. A very big shock...Sunday mornings will be a little emptier and a sadder day for me now...He will be sorely missed by many he never met but had a profound effect on...I feel like I have lost a friend.

  2. He was still timid tim, playing the favorites game, and he would not have gone as far if he asked the hard questions to the liberal controlled media. They all like Tim, like to be known as hard hitting and fair, but like judges that owe, they make concessions. He was in knowledge of heart problems, but stressed and drove himself in a sort of obsessed and anxious way, and in that regard, was lacking in wisdom and control. above all, he was only human, and a good man.

  3. Definitely a shock, and we will miss him. 58 is relatively young and my heart goes out to his Family, they will miss him the most. Tim Russet has earned high respect for his work in journalism and the President also acknowledged his approach and the difficult question in his interviews. May he rest in peace,

  4. I was shocked too. I was at my school's library and went to the PCs and was checking the news, when I read about Mr. Russert. He was still young, how sad.

  5. I was truly shocked. I watched him all the time. He made me laugh as well. Tim Russert's magic was making the public understand political issues. He always explained both sides and explained pros and cons for each with no show of favoritism or prejudice. His knowledgeable insight gave us watchers 'hidden' possible scenarios that we would not consider until he mentioned them on the air. I enjoyed Tim the most when discussing elections with Tom Brokaw. He helped me understand the process each step of the way and always 'hung in there' on election night to guide us through the long hours. Where ever he is now, I hope he somehow knows the outcome of this year's historic presidential election. My heartfelt thoughts are with his family and everyone at NBC.
