Well there were ten police vans, 6 police horsemen and umpteen foot police for the demonstrations. Police security at all entrances of the airport whilst protestors danced and played music in the streets. Maybe...just maybe...the police could have been used somewhere else so perhaps its a good thing they werent needed for an emergency.

  1. Protestors who won't disperse after proper warning should have high pressure fire hoses trained on them. It sweeps the street without the use of bullets, cools folks off and defuses the problem. I've seen it used in Japan and it is a first-rate weapon.

  2. Ever thought they were there to protect you...

  3. Yes it was worth every penny to provide local people with some entertainment on a Sunday morning.

  4. The Police were allocated to the area of highest risk to the public, and that was where these fool's who have unmeasurable self belief were ruining a perfectly good piece of land. We should have had the army in on rifle practise. They'd of dispersed a bit quicker after a few of them became deceased.

  5. The DETERRENT.... of the Police Presence... IS ENOUGH... in most circumstances.... to ward off... the ... TROUBLE!

  7. you are totally right. it is a total waste of time. these tree huggers go to every single protest in the country. does not matter where or what it is about. i think they just do it because there poor excuse of lifes have nothing better to do. a total waste of tax payers money. i pay my tax for the police to catch criminals. not to baby sit dope heads. and i am sure many of the police feel the same
