Question:

Was the "Gift of God" Living Water, or was it blood? Did you ever try to clean with blood?

Don't know how theologians get away with this, but they seem to overlook that Jesus himself was handing out the key to the Kingdom and he was giving the "Gift of God." And he explained to the Woman at Jacob's well that the Gift of God was Living Water.

Why go for blood, if the Original Gift of God was about Living Water? More context on my bio.

  1. Jesus is the living water, but how do you receive it?  By believing the Gospel, which includes His death, burial and resurrection.  The blood He shed on the cross is the atonement for our sins and to say otherwise is to deny the rest of Scripture.

  2. Living water means the essential item to drink to live. eternal life is the essential to live and was brought by Jesus and his blood he shed on the cross for our Sins. With out it there is no eternal life.

  3. The living water Jesus offered was a metaphorical statement communicating the fact that Jesus Himself offered eternal life.

Oh, and blood, use your brain, what does blood do in the physical body.  Two things, it carries life (in the form of oxygen) to every cell in the body, and it carries away (IT CLEANSES) all the waste materials of the cell to the kidneys.  Awesome when you realize how God paints pictures with words and with the realities of the human body.

  4. The "gift" was and is, "Eternal life" Which was freely given not earned "lest any man should boast!"
