I know the The Brickyard is the oldest track in the nation and has great history. I also know that the race to day was a joke from a competition stand point what racing? With a competition yellow every 12 laps must say something about GOODYEAR ABILITY TO MAKE A TIRE ! then ESPN coverage sucked i missed 30 mins of the almost a race with tech difficulties ESPN and ESPN2 both were black. I WISH FOX AND SPEED TVWOULD COVER ALL RACES. Any one agreeed

  1. I totally agree.  ESPN sucks.  Fox is WAY better, and that is 5 hrs of my life I will never get back.

  2. i agree fox & speed should cover all races.

but i thought the race was pretty good, kinda different from most with all the cautions, but it was great...especially since Jimmie Johnson won!!!!

    =]

  3. I agree with the ESPN comment,  but I thought today's race was the best all season.  Atleast there were some wrecks earlier.  All of the races this year have been boring with this COT.  I can't believe that I'm saying this, but I agree with Kyle Busch.  The COT sucks.

  4. I totally agree... I think nascar needs to tire shop and make goodyear be a little more accountable. Today was a joke !

  5. I wish that Fox would cover all the races too.

I usually fret because I can't watch the races once they move off Fox--I'm one of the about 2 people in the US that doesn't have satellite/cable. But I'm glad I missed this one. I follow along on the radio, and I wound up taking a nice nap yesterday. I should have taped it to put me to sleep on nights I suffer from insomnia.

Only good thing about it was Sadler coming in fourth.

  6. YES... It was the worst race ever. Nascar should refund all the money back. The purse should be divided between all the people who drove across the US to stand in the heat all day to watch a 10 lap shootout.  NASCAR has stuck us again with a boring race.  I wished the Talladega beer throwers would have been there

  7. I agree with you.  I love Nascar but today's race was one of the worst I've seen.  It wouldn't have been too bad if it would have been a track like california, but Indy is the biggest race of the year.

  8. The need some competition, bring in Firestone or  something, even Toyo or Falkin.

  9. I also felt that the race was boring due to the fact of the blown tires and/or tire problems and with the caution flag waving what seemed like constantly.  ESPN coverage on cable in this area was also off the air for over a half hour. That totally sucked big time.

It was really hard to enjoy the Indy race this year, so I truly hope they can get things figured out for next year.

  10. Not as much as this question. But I do have some advice for you. If your going to wish, "wish for something big"

  11. It wouldnt have been so bad if it happened at another track. I am a big NASCAR fan but I know some of the races are going to be boring so unless its a big race I am usually doing something else during the race and then I come and check every half hour to forty five minutes to see whats going on. But todays race was at Indy. Suppose to be one of the most exciting races of the year so i planned nothing else and it turned out to be the worst race I have ever watched.

Also I agree that ESPN shouldnt cover the nascar races. The coverage sucks and I hate listening to their anouncers.

  12. You're really lucky that your cable went out for awhile, my didn't.. LOL

  13. nascar is a waste of time and fuel period.
