Israel was placed in the Middle east 'and heavily armed' as an invading force in the first place. the west was conned into believing  that it would slowly take power in the middle east and would be a huge Ally easy to do business with.....But the Arabs were not as stupid as the west assumed them to be. and Israel is not the Ally they assumed it would be either. now! israel is a pain in the @rse and is making it harder and harder to trade with the middle east. serves the west right for their Arfer Daily dodgy politics.

    The number of US policy makers and the seniority of their positions in the Bush administration who have joint US-Israeli citizenship is breathtaking.  Several have previously been charged with espionage on behalf of Israel, including Richard Perle, who was subsequently 'pardoned'.  Almost all are involved with defence, foreign policy and security issues at the very highest levels, making the US policy making and intel structure wide open to foreign influence.

    Such a situation is historically unprecedented and in fact the whole concept of being a joint US citizen was illegal (a crime actually) until recent times - the law being changed by the Supreme Court when an Israeli managed to overturn the ruling.  

    Almost all of these folks are recognised as being neocons, a perfect target for Mossad recruitment (and I am giving the benefit of the doubt that they actually got into those positions without Mossad 'support' in the first place)... a dubious assumption. ; )

    Can it be ignored that the most successful spying operations  to be publicly disclosed against the USA are not Russian, but Israeli... ?  The Israelis subsequently horse traded the Pollard info with the Russians - no doubt gaining themselves another intel advantage in return.

    You just label ANY such line of questioning as being anti-semitic and / or a crackpot conspiracy 'theory' - the media naturally know this tactic already and keep their mouths shut, unless it is to label people who ask such questions 'as per the party line'.

    Now ask yourself the key question, who gains?  I'd suggest that diplomacy and trade is generally proven to be a more effective strategy than war.  You decide.

    Meantime I'd suggest you support the Israeli Peace movement - they are a brave voice of sanity and humanity!

  15. No, the war on Iraq was conceived on the day the Persian Gulf war ended.  Saddam was left in power under conditions.  Conditions he did not follow thereafter.  If you cry "Uncle" to end a fight you're losing, then snub your nose after the victor's mercy, you're not going to go unpunished.
