Deemed by many as the greatest invention since fire, haven't we overestimated its usefulness, really? Why do humans revel in superlatives as descriptors?

  1. Humans revel in superlatives because we naturally summarize things, and calling things best and worst is a natural consequence.

  2. Why do humans revel in superlatives as descriptors? I think somebody is reveling in his (or her) use of SAT words in a sentence. The utilization of the wheel in the vast array of applications in this world is incalculable. To say its usefulness is OVERestimated is ludicrous. Really.

  3. would you rather walk across the united states or drive or take a train which both require the wheel? Would you rather carry 250 lb. worth of items up a mountain or take a cart up instead?

  4. of course it was very essential.how can you go to the distant places?without wheels there would be no vehicles.....

  5.   It eliminated the log.

  6. 1. Thank wot happened tu the indians...didnt hav the weel.

  7. Oh yes.  Right along with fire.
