  1. Max Baer had at least two fights against Paulino Uzcudun and King Levinsky that went the full 20 scheduled rounds.  Joe Louis had a couple scheduled 20 round bouts that never went the distance --he knocked Simon and Pastor out before the end of the fight.  Joe Jeanette fought a 40 + round fight that lasted over 3 hours.

    In addition to what others have mentioned here there were many fights that were 20 rounds and longer.
