Was there a GOLF CLUB (driver) in the 90's with a hole in the center to aid wind resistance for long drives?

I seen it on a infromercial, it had a tiny hole in the center of the driver so that the club would have less wind resistance and travel faster, but it was illegal on the PGA tour, does anyone know the name of that club? or were I can find it or at least view it?

If it's got a hole in the center, where are you supposed to hit your ball?  on the side?
