I believe something was in the loch but I believe because there have been sightings in other parts of Scotland.

No one can be sure if the Loch Ness monster is real. Though there are many people who go out into the Loch and search for Nessie no one has ever found any stable evidence of a huge creature there. Many may say they saw Nessie in the water or a long snake like body slightly above the water, but none have visual evidence. I for one believe there is a possibility that a million year old dinosaur lived there and still lives today. But I'm the kind who has to see to believe.
