  3. There was an earthquake of magnitude 6.4 off Rhodes in the early morning of Tuesday, 15th July.

There are earthquakes everyday somewhere in Turkey but usually insignificant.

You can see the recent history here:

  4. The quake's epicentre was located about 200km (125 miles) south of Athens, near Kythira Island

if you want news for Turkey, here is a turkish news site, like BBC in England, but this is english version for you to be able to understand (if you do not know turkish):

  5. There are earthquakes several times a day, everyday in Turkey, most of them are small and unnoticable.

I have an earthquake watch on my googlei Home page and there have already been 3 today and 4 yesterday. But they are so small that people dont notice them. its normal.

  6. Didnt notice one

  7. Yes.  There was one off the coast of Rhodes around 6:26 am on Tuesday.  The richter was at 6.3.

There was also another earthquake the next day that occurred around midnight...don't know where the earthquake came from though.

  8. There was quite a big one off the coast of Rhodes 15/7/08, I'm sure this would have been felt quite strongly in Turkey.

Check the site www.emsc-csem.org (European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre). This shows all earthquake activity, including the small tremors that nobody would notice.
