Was there a memorial service for Bernie Mac in St. Thomas yesterday?

Hi Hector-I guess that a memorial service for Bernie Mac in St. Thomas is as relevant as a texas chili cook-off at Bolongo Bay. Bernie Mac had certain freinds and associates in St. Thomas especially in the hardcore party crowd ie Vivid Video, BET, AVN etc. When I met him at the Caribbean Salloon he was hanging with some guy called Buck Cherry. I wonder if their spot ever aired on Y! I know the John Holmes bit did. Infact, the first time I heard the now infamous tales of turkey basters and used condoms was from him. Add to that the XXanga girls and the Brotherhood of the Bros and you have arguably some of the most disgusting scenes of uncut music videos that appear on your late night channels.

I doubt it.  Yesterday was a pretty big event here in St. Thomas: The Texas Chili Cookoff.  If there was a memorial service, it wasn't publicized.  I don't why you'd think we'd have a memorial service here for Bernie Mac.  He's not from St. Thomas.  He's from Illinois.

the real shaz, you must be more in the know than I am because I can't recall Bernie Mac ever even being in the Virgin Islands.  It wouldn't be the first time that celebrities have smuggled themselves in and out under the radar.
