  2. There is a place called Durkar near Bradford. Never heard of Derpear, perhaps they changed the spelling later?? I'll have a quick search to see where the name came from.

    EDIT: The name Durkar comes from from the Viking ''drit kjarr'', meaning dirt marsh. It was known as Dirtcar until 1906, when it was changed to Durkar. Does that sound familiar?

  3. I was born near bradford, my kids were born in Bradford,  but never heard of Derpear............must be near LUMB LANE
