Question:

Was there a race yesterday? By looking at this forum I thought it was the Kyle & Junior show?

I am begining to think this is not the NASCAR section anymore. Should they change the name? Wasn't there anything else interesting besides Kyle & Junior? Heck Junior was 13 laps down and still headlining here. Let's leave it alone.

I thought there were other things going on did anyone else?

Did anyone think DW was going to cry with his last Boogity, Boogity, Boogity.....see you in February boys!? I sure will miss him........(Wipes tear)

What did you think of only 7 cars finishing on the lead lap?

What is the least number of cars on the lead lap after a race?

Anything but bashing Jr, KB & the fans that support them............time to move on folks.

  1. I agree.  Jr crashed, but was still the headliner.  Give it up, guys.

I will miss DW as well.....at least I'll get in one more fix of DW Wednesday at Eldora.

7 cars?  I actually turned the race off in favor of the Indy Car race at Milwaukee.  It wasn't much better.

The least number.....1.  Ned Jarrett(and I'm sure a few others have as well) won a race by lapping ALL of the other cars on the track.

I agree.......just as long as it's not going back to the jeff and jimmie show.....gawd I hate that show!!!!

  2. SERIOUSLY!  Yes, lets move on.  I missed the race because I had to work but the clips looked good on NASCAR Victory Lane.

  3. I'm with ya!! and yes DW's last "boogity, boogity was sad, I'll miss that!! And that was a crazy race yesterday!! How many times do we see a race end with only 6 cars still on the lead lap!!  Crazy day!! I hated the way it went for my driver but I have to give it up for Kyle he did a good job yesterday!!

  4. SO what the question?

  5. The only race yesterday was the Roush team vs Kyle Busch.  It didn't help that several of the top drivers were knocked out on lap 17.  Of course I don't think they could've done much with Busch, Edwards, or Biffle.  Those 3 guys were on a rail & if it wasn't for Biffle's battery/alternator problems, he probably would have won.

I was disappointed in the Dover race.  It's usually one of my favorite tracks along with Bristol, Darlington, Atlanta, Richmond, Martinsville, & Daytona.

  6. I hear ya Steffy! I came home from my in-law's logged on and it was a full on bash party! What the heck?

I love DW man, he was my favorite driver back in the day, and I still adore the old coot.

And as far as the 7 cars on the lead lap, good thing the race ended when it did, it was about to be the top 3 only, lol.

idk on the last question. But I thought someone posted that back in the late 70's early 80's there was a race where the 2nd place car finished a lap down CRAZY!

I hate the bashing, too. I enjoy being Kyle's fan, and I've never had anything bad to say about Jr. (okay, innocent jabs here and there) and I'd never disrespect his fans, as you know I married 1 gave birth to 2 (and still love them despite it, lol)

    *innocent jab*

    I agree, MOVE ON!

  7. I thought there were 6 cars on the lead lap, could be wrong.  I liked seeing Biffle and Kennseth do so well.

    How's that?

  8. wont miss ole dw

only 6 were on lead lap

least ever on lead lap was 1

  9. Doesn't seem like a race. After the first wreck that took out 1/4 of the competition I didn't watch any more. Near the end I looked to see 6 cars on the lead lap and thought "why do they race a tracks like this".

Seriously. One off sequence pit can put the whole field a lap down and only one person can get the lucky dog pass and make up a lap. Use to a driver could make up 4 laps. Now? If they ever go down a lap then the race is over.

That's not racing to me. That's watching cars go around in circles.

  10. i think calling what happened yesterday a "race" is stretching the meaning of the term too far.  there was very little actual "racing" and it was a blowout in the end - and not a particularly exciting one at that - even for a rowdy's world fan.

  11. I agree, I'm a Jr fan and I'm starting to get sick of the same Jr and Kyle questions being asked over and over, new ones are great, but dang lets be a little more creative.

After Jr crashed out, I stopped watching and went outside and enjoyed a few beers by the pool.  I'd check in every now and then just to see if anything was going on.

I cant stand to hear DW as a commentator, but that's just me and I about puke every time I hear boogity, digger and pull those belts.  I'm ready for a change in coverage.  But to be honest, I have hot pass, and all I listen to is the in car chat and the motor.  I cant really stand to hear any commentators anymore.  To me they treat every race like it's a new one for every single fan, lets face it, the sports isnt growing like it was.

Cars on the lead lap - well you know with the COT, we should have better racing and everyone should be more on equal ground, at least that's what NA$CAR wants you to believe.  The COT took a step back for me with the little bit of racing that I did see.
