I was so scared I nearly squashed my hubby:-/

He was like-wa?wa happened?-I was like, I think I had a ghost experience, I was at the sofa and suddenly it shacked a lot and I jumped afraid!!!

Yes we woke to hear the loose bits in the room vibrating at 1Am

Were in Cheshire, well wierd felt like a HGV passed by without a sound. Freaky 1st experience of one.

Also think i jinxed myself, having watched krakatoa on sky i was saying i wonder what its like :(

Hi, yeah, this morning i woke at 1.00 am to my bed shuddering violently! Instantly i thought 'why the h**l is there an earthquake in England!?!?!?!' It thumped aswell. I live in Hull, right near the epicentre.

Yeah there was. My mum lives about 10 minutes away from where it hit she said that it was about 1am when she got woken up by him. Wish i still lived at home. Then i would of felt it.

Yes. It was at 12:56 am and it measured 5.2 on the richter scale. The epicentre was in Market Rasen in Lincolnshire. I live in Notts so I felt it. it was the worst quake since 1984.
