Yes! The Olympic trials for Ping Pong were held at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You might not be able to disguinish the USA team from the Chinese team, because most of the USA ping-pong players are Chinese American!

I dont think they had ping pong, at the Olympics. There was table tennis, which is sort of similar to ping pong. There was a USA team for table tennis.

Table Tennis and Ping-Pong are the same thing, just as exotic dancer and stripper.

Yes we had a team and they did okay. Wang Chen gave us our best showing getting into the quarterfinals. She is a native of Beijing but competed for the U.S.

Ping-Pong and 'table tennis' are ALMOST EXACTLY the same thing. ('cept for one little rule where in ping pong the ball must bounce off your side of the table AND the opponents side. 'table tennis' only has to bounce on the opposing players side of the net.). If we had a 'table tennis' team, then we had a 'ping-pong' team.  The terms are generally used interchangeably for anyone that doesn't play the game regularly, or isn't anal about the game.
