Was there an Amtrack train that went from Albany/Renss to Grand Station, that now goes into Penn???

I know that I did take the train from Albany into Grand Central, but now it goes into Penn. When did they change back??

in peen station, take M34 bus to 34th and park ave, grand central will be there

Back in the early 1990s, Amtrak decided to consolidate its NYC operations to Penn Station only.  It's a cost-saving move so they don't have to duplicate their services at two separate stations (Penn and Grand Central Terminal).
