I live in a REALLY RED STATE and nobody cares that he picked a woman...so why are you republicans on yahoo trying to make her such a big deal...and the few female Dems that I know are still not voting for McCain anways.

  1. So far, the daily tracking polls have shown no movement since McCain announced. Obama is up by 8 in one, by 4 in the other, which was exactly where he was on thursday, the day before the announcement.

I think she excites the Republican base, which was going to vote for McCain anyway, and because she is a far right-winger, everyone else gave a collective yawn.

  2. Fine.  No one cares the Dems picked a ding bat.

  3. Governor Palin's impact will occur after the VP Debate on October 2nd

  4. Gallup poll says there is an increase of 7% of people more likely to vote for McCain now because of Palin. I'd say that's an impact.  But here's the REAL impact:  Republicans who likely would have stayed home on Election Day because they just weren't as excited about their ticket as the Donkeys are will now definitely go vote...because Sarah has JUICED them.

  5. The impact will only be that her EXTREME fundamentalism alienates people not aligned with her Christian agenda.
