  1. I think the book was named thus to make us doubt the nature of Snape. Till the 6th book Snape was portrayed as an antihero(!); but in whom Dumbledore alone had faith. At the end of the 6th book, he is shown as one who was completely evil. Also Harry was able to find more about Horcruxes with the help from Snape's old Potion's book.(He obtained the Felix felices, which he used to get information about the memory). He might not have used the book if he had known that the book belonged to Snape.

  2. I think the name was just a hook, something to get everyone thinking that it was voldemort, because i know i did for the longest time. I really dont think there is a better title for it. My titles are just weird anyways. lol

  3. I think it's supposed to let us get to know Snape. So that we discover about the fact that he was just like Voldemort, except braver, and a better person, and that he, voldemort and Harry are all the same, half bloods.

It clues us in to the fact that he loved Lilly, I think too, and also adds a twist to the fact that he killed Dumbledore, so that when we found out that he did it on Dumbledores orders, we were surprised.

  4. closed book.....

  5. hmmm, yes i sort of agree....but it did tell us about Snape....and well, the information kept the interest in the book, the impression it gave us of Snape proved to be wrong later on,but Snape was an important character in the last book....even,the fifth book didn't have a title which would tell us all about the story....

    JK Rowling's imagination,that's al i can say :)
