After staying in third at the Belmont and it looked like Desormeaux had set Brown up for a charge and the horse did not go and he sunk like a brown stone...what was wrong?

  1. John R said it right

    So shut up now O.K.

  2. LITTLE BEIGE not big brown was terrible today. i do feel bad for him but i don't feel bad for that idiot rick, or should i say d**k i love choking on my own d dutrow. s my d dutrow. YEAH!!!!!!!!! DA'TARA. ICABAD CRANE 4 LIFE

  3. Just like anything else, it's all about the $$$$$$.

There was 5.3 million dollars bet on Big Brown to Win at Belmont alone, probably 100's of millions to Win off track coast to coast.

Fixed???  You be the judge.  Most racetracks have mob financial issues......

  4. There could be a number of things, but in my opinion it wasn't his foot, he didn't show favoritism at all.  Could be bleeding...lasiks will take care of that.  Many horse run on lasiks.  He may have been just stubborn or too Hot.  The horse calls all the shots.  Whatever it was will find out soon.  The jockey, trainer and owners have his best at heart. We haven't seen the last of Big Brown, look for him to race in the Travers and Breeder's Cup.  Keep the faith.

  5. I have to agree with sone of the remarks I read that maybe the track was too deep, the weather too hot and the track too long.  It was a smart move by the jockey to pull him back wth a 1/4 mile or so to go.  This horse laid an egg... we all do at times.  Big Brown will be back and stronger. Big Brown was prepared for this race but this horse hold all the strings while running, he's in control.  He knows what he can or cannot do in a situation like we had yesterday.  He'll be back...  Let's not jump the conclusion.

  6. Gee, what do ya think, all that 'smart' money on the 'brown', and those odds 3-10, all that money lost, all that money made, nah, there would never be a 'fixed race', not in this day and age.....
