Was this a pure rejection or was the coach letting me down easy

ok i sent my tape to the harvard university mens coach and he told me im quite a good player BUT this vdeo does give me too much BUT you could go to prep school for a year because thats where we do our recruting OR we would love for you to get into harvard on your own and be a walk on

guys be honest my ego is already bruised so it wont matter and whaat do you advise me to do from here

To be honest, they don't like the video because it's too jiggly. Harvard probably gets hundreds of applicants, and no doubt the majority of them use a tripod to steady the camera. The fact that it wiggles around, shakes, just looks unprofessional. However, you are still very talented anyways, it's just Harvard is kind of picky being an Ivy League and all that.

It is also possible that they did not like the music, this is just a POSSIBILITY, so I'm not sure on it. When people have to listen to music they don't like, they usually get in a bad mood. (I like the songs myself, personally, but my sister cannot stand it)

Lastly, it is also possible that they did not accept you...

because of your ethnicity.

I'm sorry for telling it like it is, I really get way ahead of myself. Those are the only reasons they would not accept you, despite your talents on the field

I think the coach was being nice to you and that you should look for a school that wants you to play right away.  I'm sure there are other schools that would want you to play for them as a starter.  This I would think is your best bet.

dude not to be rude but you're playing against girls in a lot of those clips. Not to say youre not good. you play alright but D 1 colleges want big, strong physical players. you are decent , i would say definitely walk on at some schools. try to bulk up a bit.

you have a lot of talent. you just need to put urself out there to other skools besides harvard. i am sure another division 1 school would recruit you.
