Was this a smart trade that i did??

i got lincecum and jose valverde and gave up teixera verlander and jay bruce i needed to do i two for 3 deal bc holliday will be back so i was going to drop one of these 3 also i can afford the loss of teixera because evry night i had to make a decision out of fielder howard and texiera to start 2 at util. every night i made the wrong choice and the guy i benched did amazing so i want to have only 2. the other guy would take fielder so also would that be better than giving tex.

Valverde is not a shaky closer. He is a lockdown closer. Not counting that first week of the season, he has been lights out, especially as of late. Verlander and Tex are not having the years people thought they would but I would think they both come around. Bruce is a fresh fantasy stud but he should come back around to more realistic numbers soon. Still, i think you gave up a little more than you should have. All in all, a decent trade. You can never have too many options at offense but this trade did work out for you.

I think you did a great job picking up Lincecum, but I think you might be missing Jay Bruce soon.  And valverde is a shaky closer.  Never know though.  It's one of those gambles we all take at some point.
