Question:

Was this healthy eating?

today i had

1 sunny side up egg

1 plain baked potato

2 mini soy sausages

a glass of chocolate milk

a carmel frapp. ( light )

a vanilla nonfat frozen yogurt w/ fruit topping

a subway veggie foot long ( no cheese or sauce)

1/2 an artichoke

and lots of water

was a missing anything in my meals today?

  1. That's a great start! Actually that is enough protein, but maybe light on fruits and vegetables. Fruit is missing. The artichoke is good- a veggie, and there are some veggies on the subway. You need 5 servings of either fruit or veggies a day. One serving is either a piece of fruit or 1/2 cup.  

    It's also to get at least one raw fruit/veggie a day - either raw fruit, salad, cukes, celery, carrots, which may have been lettuce on your foot long :)  Whole grains are healthiest, for example on your sandwich.

    So I would say add fresh fruit, and a few more veggies. Keep up the good work!

    You miss out the green vegetables and cereals. Spinach is the best.

  3. You could have used more protein, perhaps.

    Fruit with peanut butter helps with fiber and protein.

    You certainly didn't eat unhealthily today (unless that frapp had whip!)
