When I was lil from the age of 6 - 16 I used to get a basketball and just bounce it around and think. I would hit it in the air and bounce it do all sort of ball tricks. While I was doin it I would just imagine about alota things. I would the imagine the impossible and things that any kid would think about. I couldn't imagine the way I did without a ball. I needed to bounce something around. I've been diagnosed with ADD and alota mental problems and I was sent to a hospital. The only ball they had their was a mini soccer ball. I would take it and just bounce it, play with it, and of course imagine. I'm 21 years old and I don't nearly do it as often as I used to. At times I'm on the bed and I would think about real life and just throw a football towards the ceiling and just catch it.

I thought about how I used to love doin that awkward activity. I say awkward cause I never met another kid that did it.

What did I have? Is their a correct diagnosis for it? Or was it just bein a kid?

  1. Having ADD is really rough for the mind. In your mind you knew that the only way that you could become intune with your feelings, and emotions was to bounce a ball, so thats what you did. Theres nothing wrong with it at all. Now if you are taking meds for it maybe you dont feel the need to bouce it as often.

  2. i think its totally fine. i mean kids brains work differently and some people who have add and stuff have certain things that spark there brain so for example u like just throwwing or bouncing a ball gets ur brain going. ur fine and i dont think its anything at all
